This machine is designed and manufactured to operate on the opening of previously compressed and packed bales ofnatural or synthetic staple bres. It is commonly assembled at the beginning of an automatic cushion/pillow production line allowing to feed automatically a fine fibre opener.
The automatic bale opener consists of sets of opposing spikes, plucking tufts from each bale.
