The BM183P is designed to roll up bonnell spring, pocket spring, latex and polyurethane foam mattresses in order to reduce their volume and optimise their transport.
The mattress is manually inserted in a polyethylene bag and then pressed and rolled up. The diameter of the rolled-up mattress can be adjusted from the control panel.
OPERATION MODE
The operator proceeds as follows:
- Inserts the mattress into the polyethylene bag and places it on the idle roller conveyor at the entrance, guiding it to the press group.
- The mattress is pressed to the desired degree of compression, up to a maximum of 20 tons, and the polyethylene bag is sealed on the open side using a sealing bar.
- The mattress is then conveyed to the rolling group. Once the rolling phase is complete, the mattress is sealed using a sealing bar to weld the plastic film, and it is then expelled from the machine.
